The Buffalo Bills have given the green light for Josh Allen to hit the field on September 12 against the Miami Dolphins post an injury scare in the season opener. However, the quarterback seems to be taking extra measures to ensure his health before the game.
During the team’s practice on September 10, Allen was spotted sporting a glove on his hand, as reported by Syracuse.com. Matt Parrino shared a video on Twitter showing Allen in action with a protective white glove on his left hand during practice.
In the previous game against the Arizona Cardinals on September 8, Allen injured his hand during a fourth-quarter touchdown run. Despite the injury, he managed to finish the game with his hand taped and underwent X-rays afterward. The Bills medical staff has given him the green signal to play in Week 2.
In a statement to reporters after practice on September 10, Allen reassured everyone by saying, “Just trying to be as normal as possible. I felt like I threw it well today and was able to do all the things, so, ready to go.” This cautious approach by Allen to ensure his readiness for the upcoming game against the Dolphins highlights his dedication to staying fit and performing at his best.
